Creperie Du Pont Neuf

After a walk to see the giant boulders we decided to seek refuge from the rain on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We walked along the river and decided to pop for a quick bite to eat at Creperie Du pont Neuf. It would have been nice to sit outside, but weather dictated otherwise although there is a nice raised area opposite the cafe on the river. Inside, the welcome was a warm and friendly one and we felt at home right away. We ordered the super complet crepe and a banana and nutella crepe. Despite the food being simpl, it was full of flavour and delicious as was the cider we washed it down with! I devoured the super complet swiftly, and so far on our holidays, this has been my favourite one

Ate here at lunch time with my husband, sunny afternoon and sat outside, which is right in the main square of Huelgoat so you can watch everything around you. Friendly and efficient staff took our order, we both went for savoury fillings but the sweet crepes sounded amazing! My husband had the forest crepes, filled with flavoured mushrooms and was delicious, I had the sweet and sour which was cheese tomato and bacon with local cherry jam also delicious: we will return before leaving for a sweet choice.

Fantastic lunchtime crepes eaten with a terrific view too. Try the complet with a green salad delicious. We had been for a walk and had our dog with us. Despite all the restrictions, the owner managed to accommodate us. Well recommended.

This restaurant never fails to please. Try the super complete crepe with a portion of fries. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Lovely lakeside position. Great place to sit outside when the weather is good.

Smashing little eatery, quirky decor inside, great views of the lake outside. Coffee was just what was needed after our walk.
