Croes Howell Restaurant Bar

Came last weekend for a meal. The restaurant was a bit cold and it took almost an hour for the food to come. When it did it arrive, it was not good. The cauliflower cheese was Luke warm boiled cauliflower with just white sauce on top, no cheese. The roast potatoes were hard and entire potatoes rather than them being cut up like normal. The veggie option was awful. Left without eating. It was apparent other tables were unhappy too whilst we were there, as there were other complaints. We were really disappointed as we come here a lot and the food has always been nice. Hoping it was just an off day and to come again in the future, but definitely not for a roast. Had a fab evening on Friday night As we were big group we picked our menu and it was all organized brilliantly by Debbie and the service by meg and the girls was brilliant on the night. Visited for first time , very quiet . Food was good , good value. Couldn't manage dessert . Very few diners on the night we went , would have been nice to have some music in the background . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
