This restaurant, in my opinion, alternates positives with negatives. I will begin by illustrating the positives based on my experience. The parking is situated near the location and is quite extensive to potentially offer hospitality to all guests. However, between the restaurant and the parking there is a change in inclination so if you have with you a person who cannot walk, I highly recommend to first reach the place by car before going to park. The food is usually very well-prepared and local. But even though the recipes are traditional there is always a modern take on them, for example a cheesecake flavoured as a more traditional bread and chocolate tart (torta di pane, as it’s called here). The place is nice and cosy, being rather on the small side, especially in winter when you can’t sit in the garden at the back, seating inside is limited so better book a table if you are a large party.

This is an upscale version of a local grotto/restaurant: nevertheless, or just because it is upscale, you will be seated in a very warm and homely atmosphere in the middle of very quiet surroundings; the service is impeccable and the choice of very good food and wine is wide.It does not leave anything to be desired.

Went here with some local friends. A lovely menu with some beautiful special. Typical local food and locally sourced. Fairly expensive but everything is expensive in Switzerland. But beautiful food with great service.

Clean, fresh (enormous trees around with a lot of shade). Service is friendly and professional, they offer good local wines.
