Crow And Gate - Reservar uma mesa

Last time I came to the Crow and Gate was about 2 years ago and yesterday we decided to walk down to have Sunday lunch after going to another chain a few weeks back in Green Street Green. I must say, this was a totally different place from my last visit and in a nice surprising way. The staff Ellie M on her first day along with Ben were great hosts to us and we felt pampered. The meal was superb and asked if we could speak with the chef (Phil C) to congratulate him on his meal and all the staff around him. The portion sizes were excellent and very good value for money for what you get and drinks reasonable. Thanks guys, will be back soon. Steve Caroline

We went recently for a birthday celebration, we had pre ordered food to be told on arrival that one of the meals wasn’t available. Mains took nearly 45 minutes to come out. The table was an ocean of glasses where they hadn’t been cleared. Fishcakes themselves were great but the accompanying veg was overdone.

Had a really good meal and service was efficient. Portions were generous and the staff were attentive and happy. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Ellie M was a brilliant waiter, very attentive and informative. The pubs atmosphere is lovely and will definitely come back again.

Opens on Mondays unlike many local pubs and food is always good. Friendly helpful service. Worth a visit. Good menu selection
