Came here for a bite to eat after hiking at Thornton Bales all morning. This place took my patio reservation over the phone. They have spacious picnic table seatings spread apart out back next to a river that runs through the back. Their menu items consist of your classic English pub foods. The waitress and staff were so friendly. Great service. Food was mediocre. Nothing special, but it wasn't bad. It was just English pub food I could get at another other English pub. Hit and miss. The specials included a clam chowder that was one of the best I've ever had! But when it came to the Chili Supreme, that was way off the mark. Overloaded with cumin and other spices, this was nothing near to any chilli I've had anywhere in North America. Perhaps if this was an Indian or Pakistani restaurant, the boldness of the spice would fit right in. So long as you don't call it chili in the traditional sense. I really enjoy this pub because it reminds me to home cooked food that isn't overly commercialized like most places. The service is always friendly and efficient it also seems like a lot of locals enjoy this place a lot (it's always decently packed). Some of my favourites include their classic burger, the calamari, the club sandwich and my most recently favourite, the portobello mushroom burger w/ onion crisps, tomato and swiss cheese. I have been to the crow's nest in Newmarket twice over the last week. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. They offer a regular menu and the menu also offered several gluten free options. I had the wings and sweet potato fries, and also tried a burger and potato skins. The wings were nice and crispy and the sweet potato fries were some of the beat that I have had. The burger was quite good as well. For anyone looking for a nice pub type environment with a good varied choices of foods, this is a great location and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was very clean as well. Support local! Especially this cozy place that has great food and staff. This is one of my favourite spots in Newmarket and during COVID they really need all the help they can get. They are open for take out and all their food is made fresh to order. The food is outstanding so order take out and here are some of my favourites: 1. Double Baked Nachos and get it fully loaded. I like getting extra cheese and chilli on the side (trust me! 2. Pub Salad has greens with pumpkin seeds, cranberries and apple. I love it. 3. The Nest Burger One of best burgers I've ever had.

We cozy and comfortable place, feels like we are in Ireland , we old style . The servers are really welcoming. There is bar separate and eating area separate. We went on a sunday brunch, it was good, prices are reasonable too. will add photos of the breakfast we ordered. I tried wings but i didnt like it, they were not fresh. Garlic bread was good.

Had lunch with friends this past week here. Absolutely a wonderful meal and terrific time. Everything was 5 stars. The atmosphere, the food-(I had the halibut and chips)-outstanding. The nicest and funniest waitress I have ever been ever served by. Everything was outstanding. Can't wait to return. The drive from Toronto was well worth it.

Really nice neighborhood pub Decor may be a little dated but it's bright and clean. We were here on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy with reservations and a party upstairs. It may be a wee bit pricey but the food was fresh and delicious and the service was warm and friendly Reserve uma mesa agora

Polite friendly staff, both on phone and in person. Delicious yummy food. Outstanding service. Great prices. This was our first visit on Sep 30th. Selina was our server and extremely awesome. Thank you for checking all the boxes. We will be back for sure.
