On a Monday night in early February, I visited the Curry Inn for the second time. I received a nice welcome and enjoyed the comfortable ambiance and good service. The staff was friendly and well-trained, with a slickly dressed manager in attendance. However, I found the food to be lacking. The garlic bread and poppadoms were excellent, the Dahl was good, and the lime and ginger rice was interesting. But the brindi bargi was disappointing, dry, and tasteless. The vegetable biryani was standard, but it was unusual to need to order an extra wet sauce. The jungle curry was poor, essentially a gravy with tasteless chicken and prawns.
