first time in this established san mateo Casual dining house. they order in register and bring quickly their food. it was absolutely scrumbling. maybe a little oily, especially the paratha, but it was a splurgical night and totally delicious! the modern times sour bier from the bar that is connected to the restaurant has the aromen really complicated. I had carved cauliflower instead of rice in one of my dishes and it was fantastic. a great experience. it would have been fun to have some veganized Indian sweet dessert for, but they were all milk based. I was pretty happy anyway. not cheap, but generous portions and delicious. I will return!

I love it that they have a lot of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu, so you don't have to go through the burden of asking every time you eat there. I tried their thali plate and the vegan burger and they were absolutely delicious (been there twice already). Be aware that their side sauces are not vegan, but hopefully they will add vegan options in the future. Will be back for sure! Ask for not spicy if you're not a fan of really spicy meals.

great place to stop lunch or dinner! they have a big menu, and many items are vegan or can be vegan made, everything is clearly marked what is really nice. I had the spud and flower dish that has rice, cauliflower, carrots, chana marsala and vegetables. it is very satisfying and tasty; I definitely recommend it. the workers are all friendly and helpful, and the service is generally quite fast.

there were so many wonderful decisions on the menu that it was hard to decide. I had the spud and the flower burrito, in a wheat wrapper with brown rice. I could eat this for lunch every day of my life and never get tired of it. so good!

This restaurant is always a favorite for us. My son enjoys the burrito, but I prefer the plate. I have been a fan since its days as a food truck and I remember when it opened a physical location.
