Darya Grill - Reservar uma mesa

I hate like hell to have to write this review, but I feel compelled to let fellow Santee residents and the proprietor about my experience on 10/17/20. I have been ordering/eating-in at this local eatery since they opened, a couple times a month. Anyway, the round kid(male) working there always asks if I want to add a tip on a pick-up--I'm old-fashioned and I don't want to tip anyone when I collect my carry-out order. Anyway, yesterday, the kid in question decided to tip himself without my permission. He rang $1.23 up and asked for my signature--I asked why and he said he needed it as he accidentally rang $1.23 and my signature would void the transaction. He then rang me up for my food purcha...

Now this spot is full of flavor! When I went I ordered the combo plate of rice, chicken tikka and beef kabob! All of it was amazing and it was a big portion also. I was full but kept eating because it was honestly so good, and they have a lot of beer options which always makes things better. When I walked into Darya Grill I didn't know what to expect, but their customer service was so nice and friendly. I have been to a lot of mediterranean restaurants and this place was a lot cheaper than all the others ones. I can't wait to come back and try the Gyro Sandwich! Try them out you won't be disappointed!!

Darya Grill is a great place for Mediterranean food. Their gyro is very good and their other dinner dishes are very good as well. Service has always been good and they are always very friendly and polite. You get a lot of food for the price. It's always a great place for something different.

Sad to see them go! Many weekends I drove from Del Mar to Santee to Enjoy Keyvan's delicious home style cooking. With California communist pliticians forcing all the small businesses to ruins! Thanks Gavin Newsom for killing the best persian restaurant in town.

Out of business. So sad. It's closed. Because what we need is another Mexican place.... better be good.
