Dawson's on Main - Reservar uma mesa

New York Food in Indianaplis. The restaurant is simply decorated,understated, but comfortable. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly without being overly so. The first thing I said when I tasted by Salmon Oscar was this tastes fancy. I 've lived in NY for 30 years and have eaten in some of the fines restaurants there. The food at Dawsons is right up there. I was told they had a new chef last night when I dined, since this was my first time there, I had nothing to compare it to, however, the food was devine. A really good selection of different dishes are served in this restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and always nicely cooked and served quickly and on time at reasonable prices. Very recommended.

Chicken salad. I had a really huge chicken salad sandwich that was really delicious. The filling was 2 inches thick! The Slave was also very good and I enjoyed the spits of the Gurke.

The only good bar in Speedway. Dawsons is good, but apart from the route there is no reason to travel to Speedway. If you have to go, stop at Dawsons. It's the only good bar in town.
