De La Playa - Reservar mesa

This beach-shack restaurant has a real Mediterranean feel to it. Informal, yet comfortable lounge-style chairs and sofas in the bar, and lovely food in the adjacent open-air restaurant. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the service was good. The views from both the bar and restaurant are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the seafood salads. My only quibble was that the moules a la creme were served in a shallow dish so that the sauce was difficult to mix with the mussels themselves until towards the end, where the few remaini ng mussels could be mixed with both the juices and the cream.The cream was also separate from the sauce instead of being blended together with the juices...

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Playa , located literally on the main beach in town centre of Biscarrosse-Plage . Great staff (super friendly AND super efficient! , absolutely DELICIOUS food (with a particular gold star for the brochette de canard and its honey-sauce... to die for! As it was national French holiday (14th July , we did have to wait a while to get a table (they don 't take reservations , but : (i the wait was super pleasant, watching the sun set over the ocean, whilst sipping our apéritif in cosy loungers/armchairs on their terrace bar; and (ii the wait was SO WORTH IT !! On a vacation with friends, we were recommended this place by people we met on the campsite. Once we arrived we had to wait outside for an hour as it was really busy. Because of this we were expecting the food to be amazing, and it was. As a starters most of us had foie gras and main course black angus. Meat was grilled properly and the foie gras was amazing. Definetly visit this place when you wanna have a nice evening.

Everything is in the title. We were in a couple, and we ate both. the view is cool due to the location of the establishment, on the dune. but too strong. What a shame, because without that, no false note. It must be said that the room (or the terrace) had to abandon the world.

After a refreshing walk on the beach this is the best place to enjoy a great lunch with a beautiful seaview! Only thing i missed was menu’s in english. The staff was also friendly, but in a touristic place like this better english speaking staff would be appreciated.

very good reception, the setting is very pleasant whether at the snack or restaurant, the dishes are good, well presented and well garnished. There's one for each budget. very nice place to admire the ocean.
