I guess I have eaten in this restaurant at least once a year for about 15 years. Same owner/chef, and also serves behind the bar. This is a very small quiet village. Never busy and I prefer to eat in the bar area, get to greet a few locals, travellers etc. look at the pictures in the local news paper. Years ago meet a group on walking pilgrimage here. Tasty, well prepared, provincial cuisine that is becoming rare in France. Cooked and served by the owner. Admittedly he speaks no English (or claims to do so; , but will slowly repeat his menu if you ask. He has a fairly dry humour which my wife and her friend managed to prise open....
