Deep Blue Fish Chips

Deep Blue in Oxted, Surrey is so hit and miss. Brought fish and chips this evening, and they were awful . Chips were dry and brown. Just basically potato bits. Fish was dry and tasteless too. Obviously been kep tback from lunchtime. When money is so tight, and fish and chips are a treat, it's upsetting when you realise that you've just wasted your hard earned money. Great experience at Deep blue fish bar, Oxted. The staff there are very friendly and polite, Food quality is very nice. Overall a very nice experience. Kid-friendliness: Nice and friendly for the kids as they have a booklet to colour and also play games on there. One time part of the order was missing. They were proactive in responding to my complaint and refunded the missing item. Good to know that on the rare occasion something goes wrong they are keen to put things right. We had a beautifully cooked lunch . The batter was so light with no stodgy under cooked batter . The service was very good very friendly. The restaurant was clean. All in all very satisfied and would recommend eating there .
