I found "The Lion" through the journal "Frankfurt geht aus" the (annual) local print special with restaurant rankings.I have just been there the second time and the experience is the same.The restaurant is not too big at the first glance but has an additional room upstairs and is at weekends often booked. Chegamos cedo o suficiente para conseguir uma mesa sem uma reserva. O tempo estava bom, então sentamos do lado de fora em suas mesas de biergarten foram configuradas de acordo com os requisitos de Corona. We went for dinner with family. As the weather is nice, we choose the table outside. Waiter came right away and gave us good service. The card is not complicated, it's standard German food like schnitzel and asparagus was recommendation as the season is coming. We had schnitzel with asparagus, rib eye steak also with asparagus and salad with octopus ordered as main course. Overall food was further from I expected. We paid 80 Euro bill and left not satisfied at all. It was way too expensive for such food.
