"The second trip to this hotel and the restaurant serves fresh German meals. We had three people eating with good German white beer. A dinner was salmon that was seldom cooked when the middle was a little raw (like Sashimi). Pork...was delicious with fantastic chips and a salad. The 3 medallions (chicken, pork, steak) with mushroom sauce and side of the spatzel were very good. All foods were freshly prepared. The desserts are also very good with apple strudel w/ ice cream, fried apple fritter w/ ice cream and cherry sauce to drink nougat ice cream. Worth visiting."

In some restaurants Bavarian cuisine is not easy to digest, as it comes quite rich...not so at the Deutschenbaur: You will be satisfied with the meal created by chef Günther Schuler, but never stuffed.Level is refined, but still authentic. They use fresh, good condiments, mostly from regional suppliers, adapted to the season. You will not find them full of hot air.Whatever you select from the menue will be fine... we are often there, tried it all an we can recommend anything. One of our favourites for a small snack in the evenig is "Flammkuchen", also known as french pizza, Alsace style.

Second trip to this hotel and the restaurant is still serving fresh German meals. We had 3 people eating dinner with good German Weisse beers. One dinner was salmon which was cooked medium rare if you like the middle a little raw (like sashimi). Pork was delicious with awesome chips and a salad. The 3 medallions (chicken, pork, steak) topped with mushroom sauce and side of spatzel was very good. All food was freshly prepared. The desserts are very good too with apple strudel w/ ice cream, fried apple fritter w/ ice cream and cheery sauce topping nougat ice cream. Well worth the visit.
