Devonshire Arms - Reservar uma mesa

We went for a ‘end of holiday’ family meal. The staff Nathan and Susan in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Children’s menu is the ‘typical’ food choice for children, and my daughter enjoyed the chicken nuggets. My son ordered the children’s burger which which didn’t go down as well. But we could not fault the regular adults menu with a variety of meals to choose from. The desserts were exceptional! A lovely evening had by all the family and we will definitely return on our next holiday to the Peaks.

This was the third time I’ve been here; always good, but last night was amazing. After a long walk in the rain, it was great to be welcomed into the warmth of ‘the Dev’. I’d really recommend the Asian pork belly bites as a starter (on the bar snack menu) they wouldn’t be out of place in a high end restaurant! Followed with Stilton burger and the sticky toffee pudding (both great too) Staff were brilliant (and funny) thanks to Gary and Suzanne for looking after us. Look forward to returning next time I stay at the YHA

We have been to Hartington 4 times in the past year and never been able to get a reservation for this place. Finally this weekend we managed it and it was well worth the wait! We can see why the restaurant/bar is so busy year round. Lovely family atmosphere, friendly staff that could not do enough for you and the food was a rustic sensation. Could not fault the service nor the food at all. Look out for our favourite staff member who mans the bar on all 4 paws!!

We brought our miniature schnauzer to this restaurant and were warmly welcomed in a very dog-friendly atmosphere. The menu had a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. We would highly recommend it. The staff was welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived.

Absolute beautiful place. Staff go out their way for every person that walks through the door. Welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. We have been trying to get a reservation here on our last couple of visits and managed to get one today. The wait did not disappoint.
