We thought it would be just a typical small town restaurant, but boy were we surprised. We split a flammkuchen as an appertiser. No premade pastry here, clearly made from scratch, the thinnest crispest, tastyiest any of us ever had ! Our main courses were trout, mackerel, rump steak and Weiner schnitzel - all were outstanding ! The accompanying veggies and potatoes were all different for each main course, and a delicious complement to the favors of each main dish.After the dinner, I had to visit the kitchen to pay compliments to the team. The food and service were the biggest disappointment in town and below the fast-food chain available. It was recommended by some friends, but the quality of the place was away from what was promised.

It is a charming little German restaurant with a very simple menu: the soup of the day, 4 possible entrees, one dessert. The service is accurate and the food is good. That's it.
