Dear food lovers, I had the most incredible dining experience at the Dogs And Duck and I just had to share my thoughts with you all on TripAdvisor. From start to finish, everything about my meal was outstanding. Firstly, the ambiance was simply stunning. The decor was modern and chic, yet also warm and welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a cozy dinner with friends or a romantic night out. We have often visited this pub as we live nearby. All during the 6 nations there is flags and a board outside advertising the games. We decided to go here for the last game of the series. We watched the end of the Scotland v Italy game which was fine. Once the bar man changed over to the Wales v France game it was stopping and starting and shocking bad reception. The lady there tried her best to fix it to no avail. The game was unwatchable. We contacted the rest of the group to inform them, finished our drinks and got a taxi into wokingham to watch the rest of the games ahead. I just think if you are going to advertise that you are showing the rubgy, football or anything else that it should...

We visited for lunch. Service was very friendly and seating comfortable. There was plenty of space between table as well. The space inside is huge. They have a good beer and wine selection. To eat we had the mushroom stroganoff, fish cakes, pie of the week (steak) and the apple crumble. All the were excellent with plenty of vegetables. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. In all a nice dining experience.

Lovely friendly pub with tasty food, recently had Sunday lunch here with our family whilst visiting the area, the staff were lovely and friendly, the food was tasty and it was all reasonably priced, wouldn’t hesitate to come back when in the area!!

My daughter I both had the Steak Kidney pie with mash, vegies gravy. The pies were delicious, very full and beautifully baked. Mash veggies good too. Overall a very good meal. Would visit again.
