Nice pub with a public bar. Reasonable choice of beers. Food good. Full marks for a proper pie, not a bowl of stew with a piece of pastry on top! Steak filling very tender and in a rich, thick gravy. Peas rock hard though so lost a star for that.

in the rule 2 Cask-Ales and many lagers. timothy taylor renter at the moment, decent. always eat well.
