I was in Colchester to pick up a friend from the hospital near this pub and decided to stop here for a late lunch. The spacious car park was inviting and the atmosphere inside was warm and friendly. The staff were all polite and had a smile on their faces, with Aaron checking in to make sure everything was okay. The menu offered a wide variety of food and drinks, making it easy to find something to suit my taste. The food arrived quickly and was well-prepared, showcasing good quality ingredients. I was overall impressed with this pub and would definitely recommend it.

We were welcomed with a smile as always by the lovely Aaron who makes us feel welcome and gave us a selection of tables to choose from. We were explained thoroughly the menu specials as my parents had not visited before and Caitlin bought our meals to us within minutes piping hot! Caitlin returned to the kitchen several times to get sauces etc for my mum and nothing was too much trouble,great customer service from both Aaron and Caitlin as always,love this pub the staff make this place !

Aaron was very kind to us, made sure we had a booth so we could have dinner and watch the rugby. Couldn’t thank Aaron enough. On the other hand we was eating our starter and was rushed as they wanted to take our plates away we hadn’t finished eating at this point, just made us feel like we had to stop eating and give him the plates. Please make sure your staff know when all the plates have finished then you can take them away, not when we are still eating.

Very clean food was fast the staff were very polite.the only problem I find again is the car park lighting at night is very dangerous and a law suit waiting to happen. Thanks very much for reading . Reserve uma mesa agora

Came for lunch today with my daughter and my mum, great friendly service by Karen Terry.. The food was great value for money, massive compliments to Kev. Definitely coming back after the refurb

Terry is so welcoming and a great person to have in the company what ever we needed it got done. I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be like when it opens again in December
