Domaine du Bercail

This cafeteria style restaurant with a lovely big terrace is just a short distance from the autoroute between Aix en Provence and Nice and well worth a stopover. We arrived early for lunch and settle into the air-conditioned dining room. The staff made us feel welcome even though it was slightly too early for lunch. When the restaurant opened my husband chose a mixed grill and a large salad with melon and ham while I tried the steak tartar and a tomato cucumber salad. The menu changes daily and there is plenty of variety. Wine from the vineyard is available but we are on the wagon. Efficient service by the mildly handicapped but well-trained staff. Even the coffee is great. Prices are modest...

Superb friendly service in a lovely setting….what a gem. Recommended by friends but never quite managed to pay a visit until today. We have been missing out for so long. We will visit again. Cannot recommend Le Bercail enough, absolutely fabulous, superb quality, good service and presentation, exceptional value.

Que dire...On est heureux de venir ici pour la simplicité et l'accueil vraie de gens vraies qui vous recevront avec leur coeur !On y mange très bien pour un prix juste.Si vous voulez vraiment découvrir la véritable région varoise, c'est ici !Vous ne pouvez venir ici sans déguster la cuvée du Bercail...

The location is manned by a very consciencous staff, who have different ailments. Jocy in the Cave has a good knowledge of wines and is very helpful
