Don Pepe Taqueria - Reservar uma mesa

We absolutely do NOT recommend Taqueria Don Pepe. The owner is rude, with a haughty attitude and no manners. The staff also lack knowledge about the menu items. I ordered a Margarita, but they brought me a Daiquiri instead. When I ordered a Margarita again, it tasted like water. The owner came over to our table and shouted at us in a very disrespectful manner. We strongly advise against visiting this place. The owner mistreats her customers, and the community should report this to the appropriate authorities. Service, respect, and courtesy are crucial in customer interactions. The food was incredible! Although I'm not typically a fan of tacos, these ones were absolutely fantastic! Some reviews might stem from a single negative experience, but I assure you that if you dine in, you won't be disappointed. The food is fresh, hot, and ready to be enjoyed. My husband ordered the steak with rice and beans, while I had the enchiladas with rice and plantains. We've also tried the pork, chicken, and beef tacos, and the birria tacos were outstanding. They weren't saturated in excessive sauce, but they were everything I had hoped for. I will definitely be returning soon!

The pork tacos were enjoyable. The empanadas, while crispy, felt greasy and lacked flavor. The steak burrito was sizable but quite dry. The fried rice and beans had an odd aftertaste that wasn't pleasant. The elotes were unique—large and messy to eat, but ultimately very satisfying and tasty. I've never experienced corn on the cob quite like that before.

We ordered two Super Burritos—one with steak and the other with carnitas. I can definitely say that the pork was our favorite! The Super Burrito is packed with flavor, a generous size, and truly delivers everything you could want. The Kids' Chicken Quesadillas were also very delicious, and the kids loved the rice and beans that came with them!

This was my first time visiting, and it was fantastic! Everything from the drinks to the chips and salsa to the main course was excellent. I highly recommend it. The service was wonderful too. I give it a 10/10!
