Don's Country Kitchen

Tuesday lunchtime. Google ratings got our hopes up. Not worth it. Try one of the local cool coffee spots nearby and spend the money that way. This patio is charming and temperate, but the food’s descriptions on the menus is far more exciting than what happens in your mouth. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy for the Don’s Stiffed Hash Browns entree. If I had not the lack of variability in the textures on the plate would have prevented me from eating it. Decent spinach, nice avocado, ok Jack cheese, and good bacon. Each item lumped onto a different section of the patty of hash browns. Not inspired at all. I know I’m above average in my expectations but this is substandard by any measure....

The eggs Benedict was good. Get the classic with Canadian bacon. The hollandaise was yummy. Update March 2024: Hands down best eggs Benedict with real Canadian bacon. I've been coming here now for 2 months. They have never disappointed me. These guys know how to make a bene. I bet there are a lot of other great things on the menu, but I'm sticking with my classic Benedict, half order with hashbrowns. Oh yeah, the hash browns are better at Don's County Kitchen too.

We have family visiting every year from out of state. We used to do breakfast on their last day at Jolly Roger, as they had good food, nice atmosphere, and could accommodate our large party of 20+ , but they closed years ago. We moved to The Breakfast Club, and then they closed several years ago. I suggested Don's Country Kitchen (Oceanside location it's been our place ever since and we all love it!

A great place for families! We arrived at 7 am on a weekday and were met with fantastic service and friendly staff. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious! Our child loved the Mickey Mouse pancakes. Although we're visiting from out of town, we'll definitely be back the next time we're here! Reserve uma mesa agora

Our server Llyod was amazing ! Spanish Omelet was so flavorful, the peaches on the waffle tasted fresh, like they were flown in from Georgia. Most definitely coming back! Make reservations online though, they're always busy!!!

Barb was our waitress, and Christopher was her helper. They are both AWESOME people. Can't wait to go back to O'Side and see them again. The meals are definitely worth the and the Cinnamon rolls are to die for.

I chose this restaurant based on the reviews, which was a terrible mistake! The hygiene is terrible, I saw multiple hairs in fruit bowl, the hash brown…disgusting

I went for father's day. It was great. I came early, glad I did because there was a big line to get in as we were leaving.

Don's was awesome. If you're passing through Oceanside, it's a must.
