Doo Doo's Bakery - Reservar mesa

My wife and I were on our way to visit my sister and her husband on Saturday, they had been to a butter tart festival where they got to sample Doo Doo’s tarts and raved about them. It was out of our way to stop...in but what’s the harm of a minute side trip going to add to a hour drive. I live in New Jersey now and no one bakes tarts down here! When we got to Doo Doo’s we were blown away by the variety but the kind we wanted they did not have out yet, we had to wait minutes for whiskey tarts. We bought three dozen tarts in all, as we waited we were just enthralled with the friendly interactions we had with other customers! We actually got hugs from one couple when they left. Wanting to validate the many claims that Doo Doo's has some of Ontario's best buttertarts, we stopped by to sample some and grab a sandwich for lunch. There were many, many variations of the tarts, but we stayed with plain and pecan, and they were...delicious, although a bit smaller than others we had sampled along the Buttertart Trail. A bakery and cafe, Doo Doo's has more than just buttertarts. We tried some of the fresh baked oatmeal-raisin cookies as well. For lunch we ordered sandwiches egg salad and turkey both were made with thick slices of fresh-baked bread and plenty of "stuff" between. Delicious and very filling

I've heard good things about the restaurant with the oddest name... we happened to be driving past and saw the sign, so we went in to try it. There was a table of regulars catching up on the day's chitchat, the atmosphere was warm and...interesting, everywhere you look there are knick-nacks and curiosities... well, and ribbons won for butter tarts. We had a couple of burgers and tarts, both hand made. The burgers were worth the wait. The stream of customers passing through never slowed

While visiting a friend who lives in Port Hope, a trip to Doo Doo's was planned. We placed an order in advance as apparently product sells out rapidly. The buttertarts were delicious. The crust was flakey and tasty, and the filling was thick and in...the case of the raisin variety (my favorite) loaded with plump juicy raisins. We also bought some of their tasty sausage rolls. There are so many other varieties of baked goods that another visit is in order...soon Reserve uma mesa agora

If you like oooey, gooey, dripping down your chin butter tarts, then head over to Doo Doo's. My favourite is the original but occasionally, I will change it up and get the raisin. Whenever we visit Peterborough, we go home along highway just so...that we can stop in for butter tart takeout. The only thing that would make Doo Doo's even better would be if they shipped

Butter tarts, butter tarts, butter tarts! OH they other great food as well. Sandwiches are all on fresh bread sliced thick and all the ingredients are fresh and flavorful

I've tried buttertarts all over Ontario but nobody comes close to the ones offered up at Doo Doo's! The whiskey buttertarts can't be beat and are worth the extra cost
