We had lunch on Sunday, food was really good only to be let down by the lack of service. The amount of times we had to ask for someone to clear dishes, get drinks ordered. We had empty glasses on our table throughout the meal even after we put them at the end of our table to be collected. Shame as food was really good. Maybe a Manager overseeing needed, a lot of staff with no direction or idea on customer service.

the food is excellent, well presented and for a change these days,seasonal. they Sunday roast is really good value, but make sure you book, it 's very popular. Finally, the chocolate brownie is to die for, best I have ever had. Harvey 's ales are on draft and the it a very good range of gins as well as a comprehensive wine list from house up to 'how much?!!

Absolutely fantastic family meal was consumed today 4 adults and 3 children. Very friendly welcoming atmosphere. Extremely reasonable priced and great portion size, nothing was left from our roasts anyway. Brilliant communication via messenger to organise table as well. Thank you

Lovely, country pub with warm interior and welcoming staff. Great food. And dog friendly.
