It's not the kind of place I'd recommend for you to go out of the way for but if you're around the area and fancy some real Spanish/Canarian cooking, then this might just be the place. It's close to the airport if you have transport; on foot, it'll be too far. It's huge, although it's divided into several areas (events, snacks, main restaurant). It can get busy but the local peak lunch hour starts around 2-3 pm so a reservation is recommended if you're coming around that time. Not open on Saturday evening nor on Sunday as far as I know. Lesson learned! Don’t judge a book by its cover! Was one of the only places open on Monday and served us an amazing lunch at noon! We actually looked in and said “No Way” left, reread reviews, vibed it out, and went in. It was absolutely amazing! You have to get the calamari! The best I’ve ever had. Great Salad too! We got an amazing Black Rice (One For Share) with tons of chipirones and sepia! Great wine from Tenerife too! Seriously looks quite dodgy when you walk in from the left on the bar side but it gets nicer when you go in and to the restaurant side on the right. So lucky to have found it. On this visit, I must say that I enjoyed the food more. We had some sardines and cheese to begin with and for the main course, I opted for one of the day 's specials, which was merluza en salsa verde (hake). I think it was baked, but it was very fresh, very melt-in-the-mouth tender. In fact, I 'd recommend going for the day 's specials as they tend to be fresh. They usually have a meat and a fish dish.
