Down The Beach - Reservar uma mesa

Just bumped into this little cafe hut by the beach. Stopped by as the kids wanted a slush; I had a double espresso instead (my wife a cappuccino). Can’t tell you what the slush cappuccino were like as the lot seemed to have disappeared but blimey I just can’t believe it the espresso was so good; frankly one of the best espresso I had over the past 35 years, being in the UK, Italy or anywhere else I have been. If they served it on a ceramic espresso cup like we Italians like it I’d have hugged the bar tender not just the espresso cup. Superb.

Located at the quieter and nicer (imo) end of Swanage beach this friendly beachside cafe is proving to be a family favourite. The food quality is excellent and whilst I’ve not worked my way through the whole menu yet I can heartily recommend the breakfast baguettes, panini and burgers. A licensed premises, it now stocks my favourite local cider from the Purbeck Cider Company.
