Dragon House Chinese Cuisine

We have patronized the Dragon House since it opened, so we have witnessed how portions kept getting smaller and the price going up. costs jumped hugely about 18% over the last year alone but some of that is probably taking advantage of the increased demand for take out due to the resulting Covid restaurant supply reduction. Food has always been good and still is, but after this last order we will rarely order there anymore if at all due to the high cost versus the value of what you now get for your money. You have to appreciate what you have and don't get too greedy. Consumers are not so naive as to not see portions going down and prices going up..

I ordered Sweet and sour Chicken and steamed rice. When I got home there was no Rice in my order and the Chicken was so over cooked I could not eat it. I called to tell them that we did not receive the Rice and asked if they could give us new chicken because it was over cooked. I was told that it is fried chicken and that they are busy and I would have to call back later and talk to the manager. I will NEVER again go to the Dragon House! The WORST!!!

Ordered takeout during the Covid takeout as a surprise for a friend who was alone on her birthday. Order was not delivered because of misprint of credit card as my friend waited for her dinner. When I called next day to reorder the waitress yelled at me over the phone and accused me of being a liar. Unacceptable. She told me to find another restaurant which I did. Thank you Cynthia’s for amazing service and great food!

The portions are terrible. We bought 3 combo meals and it was mostly rice. The ginger beef and sesame chicken were mostly breaded with not much meat. Their brochure states 10% off an order of $35 when you pay cash before taxes but we never got a discount because it doesn’t apply to a combo meal. It’s misleading.

I usually order the dinner 4a the food is always fresh and they make cash discounts. Try the food make your own opinion. But I bet you'll love the taste and flavors. My only complaint is when they say 20 mins it usually takes 30 mins.
