Drury Inn Suites San Antonio Riverwalk

1. The front desk guy was unprofessional, ignorant, and discriminatory. He started casually chatting with a customer in front of me, as if there were no other people waiting in line asking for help and room service. Their not-so-urgent talk was so engaged and went on for quite a while until the security girl with black curly hair saw me standing helplessly there. She came forward to me asking what she can do to help. So you see clearly the difference between a rude person and a heartwarming person. 2. I came downstairs asking for help because I needed an extra blanket or quilt for the sofa bed. I called the front desk half an hour earlier, someone said they will have it sent to our room asap...

My boyfriend and I stayed there this past weekend. Not our first time in San Antonio or staying in the riverwalk and staying at the Drury has been the best of all the other hotels we have stayed in the same area. The room was so spacious with a great view to the riverwalk, housekeeping was so attentive. The staff at the front desk AMAZING they were always so nice. Upon check in we were greeted with a smile and the lady was super attentive. The perks that come with the hotel breakfast buffet, dinner buffet and happy hour drinks were amazing! Will definitely come back to the Drury. Rooms: Rooms were so spacious, and had amazing views. Walkability: Close to so many restaurants on the riverwalk

I had a terrible experience at this Durury. We stayed during the July 4th week. The toilet was dirty, and despite informing the reception, it was never cleaned. The room was moldy, and the carpet was pretty bad. As someone with respiratory allergies, the dust, mold and old hotel smell made my stay extremely uncomfortable. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
