Duck Creek Pancake House

I have continued an effort to eat out for breakfast around the Quad Cities, especially at all of the places that describe themselves as a Pancake House in part of their name. Duck Creek Pancake House is yet another location that is on one of the possible routes from my home to my place of employment that I 've driven by countless times. This morning, I decided it was time to experience my morning meal at their establishment. Honestly, if not for Google maps, I don 't know that I 'd ever come here except if advised by multiple other people. Eat for the first time in this facility. Most of the food was good and it was very clean. All employees wore masks. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it left much to wish. It's pretty far behind Stacks and Machine Shed. The biggest problems were the eggs over boiled, completely solid yokes, and not enough Hollandaise in view of the extra thick ham, which instead of the Canadian bacon. The ham had great taste, but it was just too much. The ash-browns were good. Mostly what you expect from little Diner Hash Browns. We tried about every breakfast joint in the quad cities almost before this place. Best of the best here. Quality of food, service and prices keep us coming back regularly. 5/5.

Off the beaten path and not just for the locals. The food has all the qualities of that classic small town dinner that your always looking for.
