great oysters, good wine, our server kept making some strange remarks on my age and on wine prices following up with multiple comments on how they have 90min limit and we need to hurry up when it wasn't even close to 90min. we asked him if we can start out with a glass of chardonnay, but he pointed to house blend and didn't say that we could get a bottle of chardonnay for the table instead of the glass so he didn't even recommend anything when we asked. then i was trying to place an order for the bottle and he said that all bottles are $20 more expensive than the menu price because those are for members. he didn't explain anything about membership at all even after i asked. then he left and...

Dudley is an amazing restaurant that I have been going to for the past three years, and it just keeps getting better. Whether I am sitting solo at the bar chatting with the team or using any friend coming into town as an excuse to try more of the wine list, it's always a great experience. I highly recommend trying any and all of the fish dishes, especially the raw ones. The menu changes frequently as the team and owner line catch everything, but every dish is sure to impress. It is unclear why this restaurant is popular, other than its trendy wine list. There are no physical menus, so customers are forced to use their smartphones, which can be seen as discriminatory. The web menu is difficult to navigate and the hostess offered me an iPad but never delivered it. The service was lacking, as it was unclear who our dedicated server was. We waited 20 minutes for water and our empty plates remained on the table when new plates arrived. I had to ask for them to be taken away. I wanted to love Dudley’s so badly. Our first experience was great. It was pricey but the vibes were immaculate and food was delicious. Just went back for our second time (hoping to meet that same high bar) and the quality just wasn’t there.Oysters were so small I genuinely thought some of the shells were empty and they immediately made me feel a little queasy. Fish tacos were pretty bland and unremarkable. Oysters, fish tacos, and one glass of wine each made dinner $130. Comparing it to other $130 dinners at places like Scopa, it just doesn’t live up to the price, unfortunately.

One of the most miserable experiences of my existence. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Don’t tell me 45 then make us wait for 2 hours. What a joke of an institution. I was already aware that the food was mediocre… I didn’t know the service was abysmal too. Avoid like the plague!!

this place is alive and can become quite loud. Eating was okay not to write home. they do not offer a reservation, so prepare for the long waiting period. I also noticed that if they are friends with the host, they can sit down before guests who have waited for a table.

they are insanely busy and Sunday is the best time to visit this restaurant. all they serve is fresh, natural wine selection are unique
