Dupont et Dupont - Reservar uma mesa

This is an unusual review. We pulled up on our canal boat and hour before sunset, in front of the restaurant, they were packing up with one last table of guests and a couple drinking at the bar. I jumped on my bicycle and went looking for a small market or shop to buy Anne a bottle of Rose and a Baguette to go with the French Onion soup that had been preparing for nearly 24 hours! Alas, it was Sunday night and most things were closed. I was able to buy a bottle of wine from a take away pizza shop, but no baguette. I was in France for few days to meet some friends, and of course try french restaurant. So my friend invite me to Dupont et Dupont and that was a really nice experience!!! The scenery is beautifull with the mere and the terrasse I was lucky the sun was there) so we start with a litlle drink outside, I recommand the cockatil dupont nice and fresh, and after go inside ont the first stage to eat. The first stage have a nice presentation and is really clean. I tried maki de saumon was really good, the main carré d agneau was really tasty, you can feel fresh food and top quality, for the desert I took the cheese plate nice to be in France to enjoy it!!! To finish and resume good and quick service...

We moored up our boat on the quay at Betton. Over looking the canal we could see a lovely restaurant/bar with outside table and chairs. We tried to book a meal for that evening, sadly it was Tuesday and their evening off. However we enjoyed a drink in the sunshine. The following evening we returned to the restaurant and enjoyed an excellent fixed price 3 course dinner. This included a very tasty amuse bouche. The food was freshly prepared and well presented. The waitress was helpful and friendly. She also had a good understanding of English. Would highly recommend Dupont Et Dupont and will certainly be back

We had a nice dinner to celebrate our return from 2 years away from France; I tested lemon pearls for the first time with scallops that was delicious, typical French food , don't hesitate to go there you won't regret it.

The restaurant was light, modern and inviting. The food was stylish and the staff very helpful and efficient. So helpful that they posted my glasses to me which I left in the restaurant. Thank you Olivier.
