Dutchman's Hidden Valley

We had an odd experience. You see, we were on a road trip and thought we would use the stop as an opportunity to throw away some cups we had in the car. There was no trash can outside, so we entered to look for one in the store. This is where things go awry. My husband goes to the deli in the back to check out the menu, throwing his cup away in the process. In the meantime, my son and I, still holding our cups, are cornered by a woman who blocks our way yelling, No trash inside! The confrontation leaves me feeling as if we are unruly children wanting to spray paint the place with graffiti rather than throw away a couple of empty Starbucks cups.
