We randomly found this restaurant in the center of Merzig when we we're driving home one night and just took an exit of the autobahn when we got hungry. For the last few years it has become one of our go-to resto stops when travelling to-and-from our ski holidays in Austria. The Asian food makes for a welcome change after a week of wintery Austrian fair.There's plenty of parking in the area, and the restaurant is pretty big so we've never had any problem getting seated straight away. We've always gone for the "all you can eat" option (not sure if they offer anything else actually?) with a couple of glasses of soda. We accidentally found this restaurant in the centre of Merzig when we drive home one night and just took an exit from the highway when we got hungry. In recent years it has become one of our resting places when we travel...and from our ski holiday in Austria. The Asian food makes a welcome change after a week of the Austrian winter fair. There are many parking spaces in the area, and the restaurant is quite large so that we never had a problem sitting immediately. We have always gone for everything you can eat option (not sure if they actually offer anything else? with a few glasses of soda. As we saw the advertisement in the local supermarket, we thought let's try. When we entered the restaurant at 17:30 is was still dark inside but it was open from 17:00. The really really slow service asked us what we wanted to drink and 15 minutes later it was served. As we were the first customers in the restaurant this took forever. The buffet was filled quite fast and from first sight the food looked good. But the quality of the food was of some dishes from the buffet really poor. I kept on chewing on the beef. They use a lot of gluten in their dishes. Would not go there again.

Good chinese restaurant option in the center of Merzig. They offer all-you-can-eat buffet for fair price if you're travelling. Ambient is also nice!
