East Of Chicago Pizza Solon

As someone who frequently purchases various pizzas throughout the city of Solon, I must say that I was enthusiastic when I heard that East of Chicago pizza would be opening up in Solon. I ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni, half mushroom, and it was absolutely delicious! The pizza comes in a nice box and when I opened it up the first thing I noticed and smiled at was the thickness of the crust. It 's thick, crispy, and soft in your mouth, just the way it should be, and it tastes absolutely amazing. Many other pizza chains have terrible crusts. Either its too thin, or too hard in your mouth. I've grown up in Solon; Ordered from several pizza places, including the one's who've left town. From Antonio's, Dominos, to Zeppe's, our town has quite a few selections. I ordered a few larges on a Friday night for a party. Not only was the delivery on time (I live fairly close to the store), but the pizza was steaming hot. I can't say I tried every pizza I ordered, but the Chicago Melt is beyond this world. The crust has to be the selling point, because there was nothing left in the boxes the next morning! Note the 2 liters are pricey, but that's whatever... Will be ordering again!

From visiting the location less than a week ago, I'm pretty sure it's close permanently. The door was locked and everything else looked vacant from the windows.
