Awesome Food,But wished their prices were not so auslandish for normal food.. I was here because my daughter wanted a BBQ-Pork sandwich. We have a great waitress to help us. I was disappointed because all prices were doubled on the weekend. My daughter had to order everything separately. She's just 14, so I hated to spend $10 on a lunch BBQ lunch plate with pommes, but that's what it was. I got a loaded baked potato and it was great if I only paid the normal price they were from $6.99, but if you want beef or pig instead of chili they jack it up $3 more dollars. In any other restaurant it would have been just an extra $1. So I pay $9.99 for a pork potato. I just think that $24 is too expensi...

Some people know BBQ, some don't. In this part of the South, people seem to prefer moist bbq that has the texture of something cooked in a slow cooker (crock-pot). To Texans, that might be good, but it's not BBQ. BBQ is supposed to be smoked, low and slow. This will tend to dry the meat out a bit, but the smoky character is cooked into the meat. The charred ends of the brisket or pork shoulder are the most prized parts to us. I had the pork at East River, and it was excellant. A bit dry, but with great smoke flavor. Try the baked potato with pork and jalapenos. If you are ever in the Daphne, AL area try Mike's Smokehouse. Best BBQ east of Austin.

Always Great. Love this place! Everytime we eat here we never leave hungry! Huge portions, friendly staff, LOVE the new location. Another commenter mentioned a $78 steak, don't let them fool you, its a 48oz Poterhouse! They have something for everyone and my favorite bbq is the beef sandwich, Amazing!!!!

Great place with good weather. I had lunch with my wife. Outside terrace is fantastic views of the sea. Portions and food were great. they have live music will definitely pass when they have it. Prices for lunch were also good.

Yummy. Ive been there a couple of times and have loved everything. Coming from Texas, BBQ has to be done right and this place nailed it!
