The room was pretty spotless the TV remote wouldn 't allow me to scroll through the guide so it would take awhile to find a show to watch the location is OK you can get anywhere from it but traffic is always crazy in the surrounding area until 3am and the service wasn 't great the person running the counter was a little rude my keycard for my door didn 't work so I had to go back to the lobby and get a new one and the person was a little snippy saying I just made that in an aggressive tone like I for sure wanted to walk all the way back over to my vehicle with all my luggage and come back to the office but all in all it was an alright placeNearby activities: Newport aquarium was the reason I...
Buyer/Traveler Beware! Not only did they hike up the rates for a big concert weekend (not everyone will gouge you like this, but a lot will, even if they don't sell out), but they ran our card for 2 separate transactions instead of one for a 2 night stay which set off the fraud alert then tried running it again for the whole thing, making it even worse and causing $348 to be held up in our account for 2 solid weeks before we got it back. Won't make that mistake again.
Overall definitely a solid hotel. Nice staff, totally stocked with everything you’d need for a weekend or a couple days away. It’s clean and the rooms have a microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a decent little flat screen tv. Decor is pretty cool too. Super cool picture on the wall of the US with the states made up of license plates from that state. Nice little duck off.
