We stayed 3 nights for skiing and had a very pleasant stay. The standard room was big for a ski resort,plenty of cupboards and excellent bathroom and shower. Fantastic view from the big balcony window. The staff were welcoming and did speak some English, tho...as always responded week to my O level French. Good lounge which was quiet our first 2 nights but lively the third. Breakfast was substantial and reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant 1 night and were impressed with all the course except the main which was fine,but not as good as the others courses. we were here overnight while we sketched in samoens in the grand massif. they get a beautiful view of the mountains and it is a quick journey to gondola and old part of samoens. the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly...and professional. we would stay here definitiw.

We made a big mistake by booking in for their 2012/13 New Year 's Eve special dinner. It was expensive cc €70 each plus wine, we waited an hour for our starter, the plates were cold and when I complained I was told, What do you...expect on New Year 's Eve! We will never go there again.

clean, big room for us three. great view over the valley to the ski area. the hotel is located on the slope above the city a little. no skibus connection. dinner was really good, I wanted to fondue and they changed the menu a little and served. it! yummy. also the breakfast was good.
