Ed.Em - Reservar uma mesa

This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Having enjoyed my October visit so much, I was back again already in February (not bad considering I live 2000 km away). To my taste, the food is so good that it knocks most other restaurants down...a notch. Such harmonious interplay of textures and flavors is rarely attained elsewhere, and the visual presentation displays an extraordinary natural elegance. Dishes that may sound a bit strange (e.g. snails with trumpet mushrooms, mustard, egg, toast, and garlic) turn out mouthwateringly delicious here. Ed.Em was an excellent surprise at la Côte d’Or. Quality of the product and creativity of the recipes made for a remarkable dinner. This coupled with a white Chassagne-Montrachet made for a fantastic experience at this small unassuming restaurant. Service was good too. So by...the time the bill arrived, not cheap to be sure, we felt like it was worth every Euro spent. I’d go back any time and would recommend it to anyone.

I loved every morsel of my multi-course meal here! The recipes were interesting and varied, while not straying from what I consider wholesomeness and good taste. Presentation was elegant. Excellent wines, attractive decor, comfortable room, friendly service, pleasant little village. I found absolutely nothing to...criticize--will be back again in a few weeks, can't wait!

I thought the food was good, The decor is ok and the staff is a little too formal for lunch. Hence the prices a little high. The place is more likely for tourist. It was a good meal but the amuse-bouche plate that I did...not order and assume was included was charged 6 Euros to me. Coffee was steep at 5 Euros a piece.

Can’t comment on the food as despite making and confirming a booking several months in advance, the owners had gone on holiday when we arrived. Was a crushing disappointment on our last night of a great holiday. Hope the Michelin reviewers will take this into...account.
