This was my first time at this point and it was such a wonderful experience. I'm always hesitant to go to restaurants because I travel with a service dog and more often than I have to worry about the staff that tries to distract them or talk to them home or with them and ignore me... etc. The staff in this institution has done a wonderful job. They acknowledged that she accompanied me by talking to me (not with her). The host, Zach, who sat us, said he wanted to lay us down somewhere where we will feel like we are not disturbed (not so we are out of the other way). My server, Claire, was wonderful. Egg Harbor Cafe is a hidden jewel in Downers Grove. The location is in a large, busy part of Downers with several other small shops and shops near. The café itself is welcoming, with indoor and outdoor kitchen and the staff is very friendly. Eating here is great, you can say that all ingredients are fresh and high quality. Even the egg yolk in the eggs are a bright golden orange that is used a great sign of fresh eggs! Recommend Egg Harbor to anyone looking to stop a great place for breakfast or brunch!

What a great breakfast experience! It was our first time in Egg Harbor and it couldn't go better. The staff is very friendly, our server Adrian was polite and professional and has not missed a beat! The food was fantastic! Gracias mucho to the kitchen staff! Without the beautiful culinary mastery of the kitchen staff, this would be a completely different restaurant! 10/10

I had the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Delicious! Fill light. I highly recommend it. Help is great. Zach, the host, was very pleased and accused as my waitress whose name escaped me. I'm sorry.
