El Altillo Del Sol Cafe

The place has a cool design. We went in for snack. The servers were friendly, but it took a long time until somebody took our order - it wasn't even busy. The sandwich my husband ordered was average - could have gotten that anywhere else in this world. Coffee was average. My Torta de Arequipe? Well, I didn't get it. Since we did not have time anymore I did not bother to ask for it. But surprise.... it was on the bill. Should have gone for the street food at the market!

I love this spot in my favourite neighbourhood Usaquén. I bring every visitor at my house in Bogotá to this place to drink coffee or taste one of their delicious cakes. The ambiance is just great and even the bathroom is so beautiful!

When on a Saturday for an afternoon snack. The empanadas Argentinas are very recommended, absolutely delicious. The hot chocolate with marshmallows was too sweet, but the coffee was nice. The best part is the ambience and the decor.

The coffee is alright, but the ambiance is everything! Sitting in this cafe feels like sitting inside a book by Garcia Marquez, surrounded by eccentric decor and lush plants and flowers.

Found this place just by chance. Had a craving for Ajiaco and a glass of wine. Hit the spot. Ajiaco was perfect, the service was great and the ambiance very enjoyable
