El Altillo Del Sol Cafe

The place has a cool design. We went in for snack. The servers were friendly, but it took a long time until somebody took our order - it wasn't even busy. The sandwich my husband ordered was average - could have gotten that anywhere else in this world. Coffee was average. My Torta de Arequipe? Well, I didn't get it. Since we did not have time anymore I did not bother to ask for it. But surprise.... it was on the bill. Should have gone for the street food at the market!

Placed for 5 of us; after 45 minutes waiting time we asked what the delay was with our food and drinks. As it turned out, the order was never put through the kitchen. After talking to the waiter, they ignored us. No manager... on site to treat with our case 1 hour wait for our order. Fortunately, the area is filled with many options for breakfast You the bad service

This hidden little cafe is a very nice option if you want to relax and have a cup of coffee (or a hot Milo) after walking around Usaquén. Even for regular residents of the area, it is a good place to sit down and chat...with friends.
