El Alto La Dolires

This restaurant is both confusing and dangerous. A simple chicken roll was served with uncooked chicken, while a freshly made tortilla was so heavily salted it was barely edible. There have sent many changes here over the last year. The restaurant name changed to read Chumy y Mychu, then changed again to read El Paraiso, while it's original name still hovers on a sign outside. While some of our earlier experiences here had been better, we were never sure whether the daily chalkboard menu showed everything on offer. El Alto la Dolores , is a lovely rural restaurant north of Torrevieja, near the La Mata salt lagune a natural reserve. We tried one of the house specialities, a roasted shoulder of young goat absolutely delicious! As well as a speciel salad and a tasty dessert. Outside there are Petanque lanes a big fishing pond. A really excellent paella in fact the whole meal was very tasty and we'll presented by cheerful friendly staff, under shade providing trees. Each garden led to another or we could have sat in the large imaculate restraunt. Worth a visit

In this restaurant we ate a paella with octopus and clams. We do not think we're going to like it.... but we were surprised. We liked it a lot. We always remember this experience. The waiters very attentive with very good service.

great place with great food and fab drinks and great great staff well worth a visit and will be back again and again wen we can get back to spain
