El Arepazo Y Pupuseria

Great experience. My first visit and my first exposure to arepas, of which I both count as very beautiful experiences. I had the chorizo arepa who came with French fries and made for a considerable lunch. The arepa itself was fresh, light and crispy, and the chorizo was high quality and spiced exactly right, in my opinion. It was probably homemade, like the Spanish and garlic sauces that came with my order. The server said, also for the Pommes and oh, yeah, I'm glad he said that. My wife had the special pollen, a chicken and rice dish she enjoyed well. Our server (I am pretty sure also an owner) was very friendly and attentive, and really worried that we enjoyed everything. El Arepazo Y Pupuseria has some great Colombian and Salvadorean options! The food is absolutely amazing. I was introduced to arepas in Dayton, OH, and I would say this restaurant is even better. I have celiac disease and I have eaten three times here, without any symptoms. I am thrilled to such safe and tasty options so close to home! The arepas are crispy, the chorizo has exactly the right amount of spiciness, the cornnuegados are delicious, and the Maduros with acidic cream are heavenly.

Great service. Clean restaurant. Awesome Columbian and El Salvadorian food with very good prices. Best arepas and pupusas in cleveland. My girlfriend asked if they served fried plantains although it was not on the menu. The server said they would make it for her. And to our surprise, he also brought out their dessert candied plantains for her to try at no charge.

The staff is welcoming and happy to explain all the different foods from Plantains to Yuca to Empanadas and other foods. The food is fresh and authentic. It's like you're from the county in a small village that's entertained by a family if you're actually in Fairview Park... if you love food. Come on.

From Miami and Psyched to find this place. Great arepas, fantastic maduros (soft sweet plantains), friendly fast service, and an inappropriate clean and pleasant dining room. Great place for lunch or dinner.
