What a pleasant surprise it was to find this awesome restaurant in Crawfordsville, Indiana! I grew up in Miami, Florida and there’s Mexican restaurants all over the place. None of them were as good as El Charro’s! First impression from the outside was your typical restaurant in a small downtown setting. When we walked in, it was BAM! Very colorful and unique like I’ve never seen in a restaurant before. The owners really went out of their way and spared no expense on the ambiance. The best part is the food. PWent there on Mother's Day. Very clean, staff very friendly. Had a steak burrito that was HUGE!! Very good! Big enough for leftovers for 2 meals. Margaritas were very good also! Service was a little slow that day, but place was packed. Best Mexican food in Crawfordsville!! Definitely will go back!!

Absolutely amazing food served here! Ordnete the Fajita Texana with corn tortillas and the portion was so massive I couldn't finish everything! Great service, great food, wonderful atmosphere and beautifully decorated inside

Stopped at El Charro Mexican Restaurant on our way home (3 hours away) to grab some food. OMGoodnesss! This place is one of the BEST Authentic Mexican Foods we've had in a long time! Very Satisfied

Street taco's were awesome! El Charro never disappoints! There was a conflict on the price but still the food was excellent.
