El Chasca - Reservar uma mesa

I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews because everywhere can have an off day but... I will make an exception for El Chasco because I wouldn 't want anyone else to be disappointed. It looks very average but looks can be deceptive with Spanish bars and restaurants. We really wanted to eat in the main square but there was some sort of 'do ' on and it was packed so we found this little place and the reviews were reasonable so.... The waitress was monosyllabic and brusque (and I do speak pretty good Spanish so there was no language barrier . The food was awful which is unusual in Spain in our experience. We had tomatoes with sardines for 8 euros just a few chopped tomatoes with tinned sard...

I have had breakfast on this site on a trip I made, I must recognize that on the excursions there are many haste and lots of tension for the waiters, but I didn't get anything else to eat, it was just a lot of grinding, I think it was the first time I go, in other places I have visited have more options, at least two, I hope to get some money back.

They have a menu for tourists with half rations and more expensive dishes, which is the one they offer if you order the letter and do not know you. this invalidates any kind of other comment about the restaurant.

village bar where you are surprised by the quality of the food. Very nice personal price
