My friend and I visited El Patron Restaurant for supper and it was fantastic!! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. Our servers were very friendly and attentive and we immediately had delicious chips and salsa with our drinks before we had even selected our meal. We both chose the shrimp fajita salad and it was so good!! The chefs who prepared it are so talented and artistic. I wish I could leave a picture, but it was almost too lovely to eat (almost... with an avocado made to look like a blooming flower in the center and everything so colorful and pretty. And it was absolutely delicious!! So fresh and flavorful! We both thoroughly loved our meal and can't wait to...
This was my first time visiting Iowa, we stopped by for lunch in the morning and the food was phenomenal, it tasted like home! We came back later on the day to try some drinks, and it did not disappoint, our bartender Miguel made us a few different margaritas and they were fantastic, fresh, authentic and delicious. We will definitely stop by this place anytime we come back to iowa,. Definitely recommend this gem to anybody who wants to enjoy a good meal and even a better drink!
This is the best sit-down Mexican restaurant in the Cedar Valley. They've really upped their game on food (and are conscientious about labeling--e.g., GF, veg). It's a really fun environment, with great staff. Also, the owner is a person of integrity, which isn't the case for all restaurateurs in the area.
