El Penon De Coma-ruga

We spent June and July 2019 in Coma Ruga and found this restaurant to be the best there. The food was excellent and plentiful with a variety of choices, I found the seafood delicious especially the mussels and squid. The staff were always friendly and courteous, offering suggestions for us to try. We shared the experience of El Nou Penon with a number of family and friends several times over our stay and came away happy every time. A good value meal is definitely the menu del dia enjoyed at lunchtime. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and we enjoyed looking out to the Mediterranean sipping a glass of wine or sangria while sampling the tapas. On weekends it can get busy but it is also enjoyable...

It was open on a Saturday only, and the manager was able to offer a selection of squid, prawns, etc. that were gluten-free, as well as patatas bravas cooked seperately but absolutely delicious!

Went here a few times for lunch and dinner while in Coma Ruga, main reason was the very friendly staff who made us so welcome. Great selection of Tapas and Paella, would highly recommend.
