I was playing pool at the great Markley's around the corner, and wanted to stop on the way home for something to eat. I remembered someone mentioning a good Mexican restaurant around the corner in the strip mall. I walked by, and only saw a crowded market inside, but I went in. The restaurant is in the back, through a maze of Mexican groceries and goods of all sorts. After perusing the menu, I decided to try the chorizo burrito, and the mango juice drink. El Primo came highly recommended by a Mexican friend of a friend. I I wasn't prepared for the experience but certainly enjoyed it. We entered and found ourselves inside of a very densely packed (customers and merchandise) eclectic grocery store with not only food but large religious statues everywhere. For whatever reason, there was also at least one Spiderman statue. (Go figure) We continued to walk through the crowded grocery store and lo and behold, found ourselves in a very different world. The sudden contrast sort of reminded me of the Hollywood version of 1930's speakeasies. But this was not a speakeasy and no alcohol was offered. How is it possible that everytime I ask something with no mayo and no beans that's always what they put extra off in what I order. I stopped going there because I got tired of that, I gave them another try after 3 years. And still the same mistake.Food: 1/5

Love this hidden spot ! Foods always so good, a little salty in my taste but the flavor is amazing I would go again.
