EL Rancherito - Reservar uma mesa

I tried it twice during my one week long trip. at the first visit it surprised me to see so many empty tables. my waiter informed me later that it has a capacity of about 500 seats, he also made me aware that I arrived a...bit too early to dinner obviously the place begins to be packed by 9 o'clock. I ordered the equivalent of a NY stripe and it has not disappointed the wine selection, although limited was acceptable. the price for the whole meal and the drink was over reasonable. they accept credit cards and the usual congratulation is 10% of the bill. during one of the many long weekends is a holiday- I realized why the 500 seats, each of them was occupied and the parking was fully shocked...

perfect restaurant for local cuisine! el rancherito has an extensive menu that is sought by both the local and foreign in our group (many great photos). they can visit here on the way from the airport, visit la piedra del peñol or even only. a trip from medellin when they have a car. we were a great group and all loved their meals. it has a beautiful ambiente. my only complicity was that both the drinks and the food came out one after the other, with 15 minutes waiting times in between. I'm not sure if it was the server or the bar/cook. with that said the portions were large, the menu extensive and the quality high. I would return (and hope for a better waiter)

pricey and overrated there is no reason to be so high prices for the offer here. we were very dissapointt, as we sat and waited for 20 minutes, just wait for waiter to take our order, the only 2 fresh juices and...1 flan cakes. and then we waited another 10 minutes. When we finished, we waited 10 for the bill, and the restaurant was half full. the personal does not speak English!

I have been a few times now and really love this place, the food and the ambiance are great. The service is good, the prices are good and the food is excellent. There are indoor and outdoor areas, interesting things to look at. For someone...new to Medellin or Colombia, it is is definitely worth going to try some local cuisine and culture!

the first time in this restaurant where I went with my family while visiting “Oriente Antioqueño”. we enjoyed the atmosphere, play children, and eat with taking the beef meeting (churrasco,) which was unusable like a piece of leather. I think that with the size of shops this restaurant could buy better quality of meat.
