El Tapatio Astoria

The food was not very tasty today. The salsa was almost too spicy according to my son. I ordered a number 15 enchilada and chimichanga and told the waitress that I would like shredded beef in one and chicken and one, but I didn’t care which meat came in which one when my food came. The enchilada was only lukewarm and had shredded beef, and instead of chicken, I received ground beef I probably would have sent the whole plate back except nobody came back to check on us to see if we were doing OK so I just figured there was no point.

Staff was friendly and prompt. Seated right away and given chips and salsa. I had the #4 Combo plate which had a taco, tostada and enchilada with rice and beans. You could pick your meat that you wanted. My husband had the Chili Verde dinner. Both of our meals were plentiful and good. The restaurant was well maintained and the bathrooms clean.

Friendly, lovely vibe with murals, and good food. Vegetarian fajitas far exceeded my expectations, lovely flavor. Family members had burritos, one good and one delicious . Lovely margaritas. Spotless bathroom, with more murals.

I was on a day tour in Astoria. Great food, beautiful art, friendly staff and good service. Cool location under the Astoria–Megler bridge. Will definitely be back on future trips through the area.

Would never eat here again! Burnt black un edible tortilla chips and I found two bones in the chicken burrito expensive flavorless and a 20 minute extra wait awful!!
