My husband and I visited the Elephant Lounge Cafe in June 2017. We had banana smoothies, a steak sandwich and french toast. The food is all beautifully presented. In fact, if I was that way inclined, I would have posted pictures of the food on Instagram. It looked that good. And it wasn't just our food. We watched other people being served and everyone had magazine worthy food. The food tasted good and serving sizes were on the generous size. The service was quick and when we were asked if we needed anything I genuinely thought the waiter meant it. If the decor was improved I probably give it 5 stars and I rarely score that high. I would definitely go back.
The Elefant Lounge Cafe in Sandringham is a favourite of mine and my regular place for my daily caffeine fix. Eric and his staff are always friendly and welcoming and Emma is a wonderful cook. Today I treated myself to lunch and had the most delicious meal of corn fritters with salsa, avocado and rocket served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream. It looked fabulous as well as tasting great and was a generous size. I definitely recommend this cafe as the best in Sandringham for both food, coffee and service.
My mother and Aunty took me here for breakfast today as they said it's their favourite cafe. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and a coffee it's was absolutely beautiful, reasonably priced and came out within 10mins of ordering. Excellent staff and service too. Would highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. I'll be back again to try some more on the menu. Yum!
Stopped for a quick lunch. The location is a nice little street side cafe, we were lucky to have a lovely sunny day.The food was amazing ..... didn't expect the generous portions but the taste was certainly memorable!HAVE THE STEAK SANDWICH!!!!Probably won't be back but if we are ever in the area again we will give it another go!!Great cafe!!
